National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL)

About this Organization

Since 2002, NCALL has been providing technical assistance to the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, Enhanced Training and Services to End Violence Against and Abuse of Women Later in Life Program.  Today, NCALL is a nationally-recognized leader on program development, policy, technical assistance, and training that addresses the nexus between domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

NCALL provides resources and information on the website regarding sexual abuse in later life.  NCALL also provides training & technical assistance to programs throughout the United States on the issue of SA in Later Life.

National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP)

About this Organization

The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs seeks to address the pervasive problem of violence committed against and within the nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV-positive communities. NCAVP is a coalition of programs, located across the country, that documents and advocates for victims of anti-LGBT and anti-HIV/AIDS violence and harassment, domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, police misconduct and other forms of victimization. NCAVP publishes two national reports on violence annually.

About this Organization

The National Council on Child Abuse and Family Violence (NCCAFV) is in its second decade of service to all fifty states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands as a resource center on family violence prevention. NCCAFV’s commitment is to intergenerational family violence prevention — of child abuse, domestic violence (spouse/partner abuse) and elder abuse. NCCAFV provides public awareness and education materials, program and resource development, consultation, and technical assistance and training in the United States and internationally.

National Crime Victim Bar Association, an affiliated program of the National Center for Victims of Crime, educates attorneys, victim service providers, and the general public on the availability and potential of civil legal remedies for crime victims; refers crime victims to qualified counsel; provides technical support to attorneys, particularly through its database, which contains more than 11,000 summaries of civil cases involving crime victims; and advocates through legislation and/or amicus curiae briefs.
