Our mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing comprehensive support, services, and education within and beyond the walls of our shelter.

Charleston is a rich and vibrant community with an extensive history colored by the architecture, religion, culture, and food of the Lowcountry. We are proud to call this place home and look forward to eradicating domestic violence in our community.

The National Crime Victims Research & Treatment Center provides mental health services to victims and their families who have experienced psychological trauma. It also provides training for mental health professionals about treatment of trauma related problems; conducts research, workshops, and educational programs; and provides expert consultation to public policy makers on trauma related topics.
