CDC Awards Vital Prevention Funding to National Sexual Violence Resource Center

Enola, PA.- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently awarded the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape $1.5 million dollars per year for three years to continue funding its National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC).

National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) Increases Advisory Board 

In May, 2003 the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) added five new members to its Advisory Council, thereby increasing the body to 23 members. Karen Baker, NSVRC Project Director explained that selection to this Council is based on the experience and areas of expertise of the nominees as well as the specific needs of the NSVRC and its strong commitment to ethnic, racial, gender and geographic diversity.
