Join us Prineville Residents! Meet at Ochoco Viewpoint with your flashlight ready! We are gathering to Shine A Light On Sexual Assault by shining lights down into Prineville symbolizing shining light on sexual assualt in our community.
A 5K Run/Walk for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, along with an Earth Day fair featuring local resources, fresh hot chowder from Newport's Chowder Bowl, and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit Lincoln County domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking services.
The Do You Know Lacy? Training is a 5-track community-model training designed to build a collaborative response. Together, with leaders in your community, you will learn about the national issue of domestic minor sex trafficking, hear the personal account of a survivor, better understand the conditions that increase a child’s vulnerability to trafficking, and learn the methods of pimp control that prevent victims from fleeing.
