This online collection was developed by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center to assist communities in developing more effective strategies to address the complex issue of housing and sexual violence. This special collection brings together selected materials related to preventing and responding to elder abuse, specifically domestic and sexual violence. In doing so, it draws from the work of the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL), National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) and other organizations. By focusing specifically on domestic and sexual violence (DV/SV) in later life, this special collection highlights the complexities of older people's DV/SV experiences and emphasizes collaborative and multi-pronged approaches to addressing DV/SV in later life. 

The purpose of this special collection is to provide resources and an introduction to reproductive justice, focusing particularly on the connections between the elimination of reproductive oppression and domestic and sexual violence. Included is a basic definition of reproductive justice, information about the development and the history of the Reproductive Justice Movement, and related resources. Highlighted in this collection are resources that relate to the holistic well-being of women, families, and communities as it pertains to violence against women and reproductive rights and health. "Reproductive Justice & Violence Against Women: Understanding the Intersections" makes connections between the Reproductive Justice Movement and the Sexual Violence and Domestic Violence Movements in the United States to demonstrate the necessity of collaboration. This collection was developed by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence, and the Women of Color Network. The Minnesota Summit to Prevent Sexual Violence E-Report

This special collection emphasizes collaborative and multi-level approaches to the prevention of and response to teen dating violence.  It provides general introductory information about teen dating violence.  Additionally, there are specific sections focusing on and for young people, parents and care takers, men and boys, teachers and school-based professionals, health care professionals, and domestic violence and sexual violence service providers. Documents related laws and legislation are also included. The special collection concludes with examples of national programs and lists national organizational resources.

We are still learning about those who sexually abuse. We are also continuing to learn about the most effective ways to assess, treat, and manage those who sexually abuse. The vast majority of sex offenders return to our communities. Even though there is no single way to completely eliminate the risk of sexual re-offense, a comprehensive and collaborative approach to sex offender management can go a long way to manage offenders' behaviors and ensure their safe integration within communities. This special collection provides resources that address the topics of sex offender risk, assessment, management, treatment, and supervision. In addition, there is a special focus on the policies that have been created in the past decade to help keep our communities safer.

Resources Addressing the Perpetration of Sexual Violence

This Infofacts/Resources describes the scope of the problem of sexual assault on campus, perpetrator characteristics and situational circumstances that may make assaults more likely to happen, and the role alcohol and other drugs, including rape-facilitating drugs, play in sexual assault. This publication also provides an overview of sexual harassment and a sidebar on stalking on campus. While these are complex problems, campuses can take positive steps to address them; the publication outlines a set of principles and processes that IHEs can implement to prevent and mitigate sexual violence on campus.

This VAWnet special collection focuses on the use of technology as it impacts and intersects with violence against women and children. This categorized and annotated listing of selected articles, fact sheets, papers, reports, websites, and other materials is offered as an additional tool to assist advocates working on and interested in the safe use of technology. This resource was developed in collaboration with SafetyNet: the National Safe & Strategic Technology Project of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, and the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence.

This VAWnet resource page provides a list of online resources focusing on legal and policy issues for sexual violence survivors and those working to assist survivors by improving the system response to sexual violence. It includes: links to US resources that are national in scope, links to civil legal resources, a collection of on-line documents, manuals and articles about the response to sexual violence, and, legislation regarding sexual assault, childhood sexual assault and sex offenders.
