This campaign provides tools and information on healthy childhood sexual development for adults to use in approaching our responsibility to protect children. Learning about healthy childhood sexual development helps adults promote positive characteristics, skills and behaviors. These tools support parents, communities and organizations in identifying risk factors, supporting healthy boundaries and challenging negative messages. Many resources are also available in Spanish.
Crime victims with disabilities may face challenges that other victims do not face, such as the ability to access services or communicate with advocates. Supporting Crime Victims With Disabilities, a new training curriculum, focuses on recognizing and addressing these challenges so that all victims with disabilities receive the support and assistance they need. Promoting healthy behaviors encourages sexual interactions and relationships that are consensual, respectful and informed.
