Salary Level: 
$35,000 - $41,000 DOE

Description: 

The Institute advocates for primary prevention and develops methods for practice. Our approach is interdisciplinary in nature, addressing critical health and social issues. This position is characterized by a roughly equal balance between support of programmatic support and support of organizational and administrative functions.

Responsibilities may include

  • Project Support: Provide administrative and program support to projects, including writing, research, editing and meetings; research and/or writing assistance on papers, articles, and grants
  • Training and Technical Assistance Support: Assist in development of training materials for community-based and government practitioners; Assist with preparation for events, conferences, consultations, and presentations, including preparation of materials and logistical support
  • Organizational Support: Implement office/administrative systems to ensure an efficiently running organization; Share responsibility for administrative and detail work required for project and organization success; Answer phones and respond to requests for information; Supervise office assistants
  • Other: Pitching in on other assignments as needed; Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary and Benefits
Program Assistant $35,000 - $41,000 DOE + excellent benefit package & retirement plan. The appropriate salary level is determined by a review of relevant experience and set according to a principle of equity within the organization.
