Qualifications: 

Minimum: Four-Year College Degree; one year of social work experience at the level of Social Worker I; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Preferred: A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, or work experience equal to that of a Master's level worker; prefer license eligible in the field of social work.

Salary Level: 
$51,499.19 - $87,174.38 Annually

Description: 
  • Provides crisis intervention, individual and group counseling and therapy to adult and children victims of sexual violence.
  • Provides case management services, including updating and maintaining a daily log of contacts, writing reports and quarterly narratives, gathering data for monthly statistics, and preparing service plans;
  • Provides therapy to individuals, families and groups, and provides specialized casework to assist clients in confronting and resolving emotional and environmental problems;
  • Provides legal and systems advocacy and court accompaniment; 
  • Provides crisis intervention and emergency response to adult and children victims of sexual assault. 
  • Provides leadership amongst colleagues in areas of program expertise; 
  • Provides direct social work services to overcome client resistance, foster insights, motivate and guide clients toward agreed upon goals, and assist clients in the use of community resources;
  • Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and coordinates with peers and community partners to develop plans of service to meet the social, health and emotional needs to resolve client challenges;
  • Identifies safety issues, the development of a safety plan and an immediate response; 
  • Trains and supervises volunteers and interns;
  • Makes presentations to community groups, schools and other professional groups; 
  •  Serves on community task forces to address specific problems
