My love of blogs is no secret. My Google Reader is filled with hundreds of entries every day. Some of them are related to my professional work--many of them are not. Much of what I read I do so for pure pleasure. Cooking and design blogs fall into that category. So imagine my surprise to find that in my Reader today, from one of my favorite design blogs, there's a great post on free software for business owners. While the intended audience is design professionals and other creative small business owners, most of what's there is perfect for many of us, as well. Software for inventory management, time tracking and even Office are just some of the links provided. If your budget doesn't allow for software purchases or upgrades, or if you're simply trying to organize and streamline your processes, this is a great place to start.
