Training is optional but highly recommended, especially for virtual implementers. COVID-19 resources are available here, including blogs, toolkits and infographics. Know Your Power, a social marketing campaign, is a great supplement to either BITB or a stand-alone program that allows users to reinforce bystander messaging. Coaching Boys Into Men Futures Without Violence Jesse Mahler Required Delivery of Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) is allowable virtually, though in-person is recommended. Weekly session fidelity is required. Training is required for coordinators/implementers (referred to as “advocates”) who train athletic coaches. Information on upcoming trainings can be found at www.CoachesCorner.org. Do You Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance Raelyn Williams Not required. Implementers are approved to facilitate DO YOU upon completion of the training of facilitators. Delivery is allowable virtually. Action Alliance staff will provide virtual adaptation guidance and technical assistance to trained facilitators who are interested in implementing the program virtually. DO YOU is providing virtual training. Implementers can look for upcoming trainings here. Additionally, individuals can request fee-for-service trainings for their organizations, schools, or groups. Training is required to implement DO YOU. Visit DO YOU’s website to access more tools and learn about their evaluation materials. For virtual trainings, DO YOU will mail materials to implementers, which includes the curriculum, a starter pack of zines, and the facilitator guide. Expect Respect The SAFE Alliance, Austin TX Shannon Sandrea Available upon curriculum purchase Deliver of Expect Respect is allowable virtually. Training of facilitators is required for virtual delivery only. This training prepares individuals for virtual implementation. Training is available but not required for in- person delivery. Training is required for virtual implementation, but not for in-person delivery. Expect Respect uses Nearpod (an online student engagement platform) for virtual delivery of the curriculum to students. FLASH Public Health – Seattle & King County FLASH Available upon curriculum purchase FLASH is available to implementers asynchronously for middle and high school. Students complete the FLASH modules on their own. Contact FLASH in order to get permission to access the virtual materials. FLASH also offers a self-paced asynchronous training option that takes 1-2 hours to complete. It can be purchased at https://flash.braincert.com. The cost is $100 per participant, and the license to view the training expires after 90 days. FLASH is currently offering an optional virtual four-hour training, which takes place synchronously (live) over the course of two two-hour sessions. Training is not required to implement FLASH. Completion of a “Training of Trainers (TOT)” is required to offer FLASH trainings. The TOT is not being offered virtually. Please note that adaptation of materials is not allowable and in violation of copyright. Contact the curriculum developers for any questions or support regarding FLASH materials. Girls’ Circle One Circle Foundation Doreen Thompson Accessible upon curriculum purchase Virtual delivery is allowable for Girls' Circle. Implementers must follow the steps of the model for virtual implementation. Facilitators are allowed to take a "hybrid" approach, with some sessions taking place virtually and some in-person. However, session attendance cannot be blended (i.e., some students cannot attend in-person while other students join the same session virtually). Girls' Circle offers a virtual training of facilitators. Training is not required by the One Circle Foundation. The One Circle foundation website contains virtual solutions and support to assist with virtual delivery. The following additional resources are available for delivery of Girls’ Circle online: 1. A monthly online adapted activity is available free of charge and is uploaded to their website each month. 2. “Mother and Daughter Training and Activity Guide” has been adapted to online delivery. 3. Monthly facilitator support groups are held on the second Monday of every month, are free, and are available to all individuals. 4. The SOGIE Handbook, currently a free resource on our website, is being translated to Spanish. 5. Currently working on development of activities to address high-risk behaviors for youth. 6. “PRIDE Activity Guide” is currently available for in-person and online delivery serving all gender identities. 7. “Mitigating Gender, Racial Bias, Intersectionality, and Allyship Activity Guide” is currently available for in-person and online delivery serving all gender identities as well as developed for adult use. Either version is suitable for virtual learning. Second Step® includes training resources and implementation support at no additional charge with the purchase of the program. All resources can be used virtually or in-person. Although training is not required to implement Second Step®, it is highly encouraged and included with the purchase of the program. Shifting Boundaries Developed by Nan Stein, Ed.D. and Bruce Taylor, Ph.D. Nan Stein Shifting Boundaries is available for implementation at no cost and does not require a license agreement. However, it is copyrighted with the Library of Congress and cannot be altered, modified, or adapted, and implementers must still use the name Shifting Boundaries. The curriculum developer allows virtual implementation. There is no manual available on facilitating the program virtually. It is critical that implementation of Shifting Boundaries includes “school- wide interventions” and not just classroom interventions. Training, including training on virtual implementation, is available by contacting the curriculum author. Training is not required for virtual or in-person implementation. Shifting Boundaries is open access.
