This year marks the 5th Anniversary of the Historic Triangle Conference on Crimes Against Women.  As in the past, this training on August 22-23 focuses on the multi-disciplinary approach to crimes against women, so there will be sessions on sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking designed for law enforcement, advocates, attorneys, probation and parole, nurses/medical personnel, counselors/mental health professionals, military advocates and staff, as well as other allied professionals from a number of other related fields.  There will be two major tracks this year - 1) issues affecting military families and military victims and 2) issues facing women ages 18-25. There will be "mini-tracks" on sexual assault,  investigating/prosecuting crimes against women, understanding lethality in domestic violence, working with offenders, and assisting immigrant victims.  Law enforcement in-service credits and attorney MCLEs are in process.  Registration information is $100 for the 2-day training and is available online.
