The New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault
Description:

For five years, the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault has organized the highest profile, public event to break the silence around sexual violence in New York City. And we are inviting you to join the chorus of voices.

The Sexual Assault Yearly Speak Out is a day-long community event in Union Square Park. Through personal testimonials, poetry, music and spoken word, survivors, advocates, activists, and artists raise public awareness about where to get help and how to end the epidemic of sexual violence in New York City.

This year's fifth annual SAYSO! takes place on Friday, May 9th, from
noon to 10:00 pm. There will be performances with survivor testimony, as service providers distribute resource materials to approximately 3,000 people expected.

On behalf of the SAYSO! organizing committee, I invite you to be a
part of this special day. We are seeking artists and organizations
whose work speaks to a diverse audience. Your involvement would
contribute enormously to our efforts to reach out to more New Yorkers than ever before.

Should you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me. Further information on SAYSO!, including photographs from past events, can also be found at
