The Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW) is a 3-1/2 day annual, national training event for front-line professionals that, in a span of less than 12 years, has become known as the premiere and ONLY multi-disciplinary conference addressing all crimes against women, including sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, campus safety, strangulation, elder abuse, and human trafficking. Since 2006, CCAW has provided over 10,000 professionals with the most relevant, state-of-the-art and up-to-date information, tools and strategies taught by the leading experts in their respective fields. We present an educational forum of best practices, victim-centered policies, promotion of multi-disciplinary dialogue and collaborative community models, along with real-life tools and strategies that professionals take back to their own communities.CCAW’s long-term goal is to eliminate violence against women and children, more specifically sexual assault, in every community. We will achieve this by arming attendees with the information needed to identify, respond to, investigate, and prosecute unique, difficult cases successfully. CCAW offers more than 156 workshops, case presentations, hands-on technology seminars, and computer labs that are taught by local and national experts who delve into the complexities of these heinous crimes and provide the most cutting edge, relevant, and creative tools that attendees utilize in their professions.  Attendees include professionals that work in the fields of prosecution, law enforcement, social work, counseling, health care, emergency telecommunications, victim advocacy, probation, parole, campus safety and other disciplines that respond directly to female victims of violent crimes.

Three leading sexual violence prevention organizations announce the creation of “Raliance,” a collaborative initiative dedicated to ending sexual violence in one generation. The National Sexual Violence Resource Center, the PreventConnect/California Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence have joined together to compose the new entity. This significant moment in the prevention movement is being made possible through a multiyear, $10 million commitment from the National Football League – the first-ever major corporate funding of sexual violence prevention initiatives.

An 90 minute informational web conference will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 10:30am Pacific (11:30am Mountain, 12:30pm Central, and 1:30pm Eastern). The intent of this webinar is to provide the audience with an overview of the grant program to include information about the partnership, eligibility, timeline, new grant management software, funding categories, funding amount available, and eligible and ineligible expenses. This event will be recorded and posted for those not able to attend.
