Description:

Men & Healing combines conceptual training about the range of men's responses to unwanted or abusive sexual experiences with core intervention skills and strategies. The two-day training is designed to empower frontline workers to actively intervene with men who have had traumatic sexual experiences, whether they initially disclose histories of sexual abuse or present with other, seemingly unrelated issues. This combination of theory and practice with an emphasis on experiential approaches addresses many of the practical and clinical concerns of frontline professionals and volunteers.
