El manual del gobierno mexicano se centra en las estrategias en el uso el uso no sexista del lenguaje. Las secciones incluyen: el papel del lenguaje como agente socializador de género, el género en la gramática, el sexo de las personas, la gramática y la semántica, el uso del neutro, el uso de genéricos, profesiones ejercidas por mujeres, el uso del gerundio y otras estrategias, el lenguaje administrativo y documentos con lenguaje sexista.

This comprehensive report details advocates’ needs related to sexual violence in Latin@ communities. For example, while 91.4% of advocates who responded to the national survey said their organization has identified demographics of their intended service population, just 19.3% thought that their clients served matched those demographics; also, participants consistently discussed the importance of creating culturally specific materials that truly reflect the culture of Latin@ and/or Spanish-speaking communities.

The 2013 Spring/Summer edition of Resource-Cover-Spring-Summer-2013The Resource offers articles and insights on current events and topics such as the Steubenville rape trial, the NO MORE campaign, 1in6’s 1BlueString Campaign, tips for sustaining activism and new findings from a national needs assessment on how to engage Spanish-speaking communities. It also highlights great work happening across the movement, from how to engage faculty to prevent sexual violence on campus to what’s the latest technologies being used by help spread the word.

This report offers findings from a study of students’ activities, priorities, perceptions, and needs related to various efforts to address campus sexual violence, with a specific focus on campus policies. Students also reported on their school’s efforts to address rape and sexual assault.
