This review evaluates how parenting programs succeed at: 1) eliminating child abuse as manifest in official reports and in-person assessments; 2) altering parenting behaviors or attitudes associated with abuse; 3) enhancing parent-child relationships and positive parenting skills as buffers against abuse.

This document from the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault highlights some of the issues teachers need to consider when doing sexual harassment and sexual violence prevention education. At the end is a document explaining Colorado law on teachers’ obligation to report sexual contact, abuse & assault.
 
Issues for Teachers in Sexual Violence Prevention Education

This guide provides information on developing gender literate sexuality education designed for policymakers, curriculum developers, and educators in order to develop sexuality/HIV education materials that also teach critical thinking about gender norms and roles. 

The primary purpose of this document is to assist examination facilities to minimize the physical and psychological trauma to the adult victim of a sex crime; maximize the probability of collecting and preserving the physical evidence for potential use in the criminal justice system; address important issues surrounding the collection of medical and physical evidence.

This guide is part of the National Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative Toolkit on community assessment approaches to support the growth of sexual assault services within multi-service programs. It includes tips for conducting focus groups specific to sexual violence to make sure that community stories are gathered effectively.
