The National Sexual Violence Resource Center will provide a unique training opportunity for OVW Rural Grantees to enhance the capacity to respond to child sexual abuse.

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is pleased to announce the continuation of the Just Rural Training and Technical Assistance project. Through this project, the NSVRC provides comprehensive training and technical assistance targeted to OVW Rural Grantees related to sexual violence with a focus on child sexual assault.  Specific project events include:

Introduction

Getting the resources you need to operate your sexual violence response programs is key to your sustainability. Critical steps include identifying resources for funding and preparing your grant proposal or application. Below are links for assistance with these steps.

Recent years have witnessed growing attention to the needs of rural victims and survivors of sexual violence. Rural providers of intervention and prevention services, researchers and policymakers increasingly see the sociocultural, economic and service structure characteristics of rural areas as unique. These characteristics have significant impact on service development and delivery related to sexual violence.
