(Logo Image) Raliance: Ending Sexual Violence in One Generation

Announcing Grant Opportunity – 2nd Round


Raliance is a new collaborative comprised of the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, PreventConnect/California Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence with the goal of ending sexual violence in one generation. This national partnership established in 2015, will increase visibility of, and access to, sexual violence prevention expertise. It received funding from the National Football League to coordinate prevention, policy, and messaging efforts; establish a presence in the Washington, D.C. metro area; and to award grants to promote a variety of promising practices and policies  Funding in the amount of $1.2 million (representing two budget years’ allocation) was recently awarded for projects to begin July 1, 2016.  This announcement is for $600,000 to be awarded for projects to begin April 1, 2017.


Purpose: To fund promising practices or policies that are replicable and that:

  1. improve the response to victims of sexual violence;
  2. reduce the likelihood of perpetration of sexual violence; or
  3. strengthen communities’ capacity to create safe environments

Funding Categories: (see full guidelines for additional information) 

  1. Services or advocacy for people who have been sexually victimized
  2. Strategies for reducing the likelihood of people to sexually offend
  3. Organizational, systemic, or community-level prevention strategies (Partners have a particular interest in projects addressing sexual violence prevention within sports institutions)

Eligible Applicants: 501(c)(3) organizations with experience in addressing and/or preventing sexual violence.

Deadline for Intent to Submit form:  July 25, 2016
