Practicing Prevention: Healthcare and Sexual Violence

In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this initiative seeks to raise awareness of sexual violence within the healthcare community, and encourage healthcare professionals to become active partners in prevention. This initiative is based on the recognition of the crucial role of healthcare workers in interfacing with the public across the lifespan. A primary goal of this initiative is to increase the capacity of healthcare providers through developing materials, sharing information and building collaborative networks.
