Strategies in Brief Issue 7 [1] addressed the concept of developing a community response team for instances of sexual violence. Commonly referred to as Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART), these efforts include services and systems representatives from medical fields, law enforcement, legal systems, and victim advocacy programs. A coordinated community response is beneficial to all people and systems involved.
