50 10th and 11th graders will be selected to participate as 2014 ANNpower Fellows. If you are selected, you will join an elite group of rising stars, providing you with the skills, tools and training needed to realize your full leadership potential.
As an ANNpower Fellow, YOU will:
Participate in the ANNpower Vital Voices Leadership Forum, a three-day leadership training in Washington, DC from June 16-19, 2014
Obtain skills and networks to take on leadership roles in your schools and communities.
Be mentored by global women leaders who are part of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network, as well as executives from ANN INC., including President and CEO, Kay Krill.
Attend the 13th Vital Voices Annual Global Leadership Awards at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
After completing the leadership training program, you will have the opportunity to go back to your community and create a project that will affect change, using all that you learned at the Forum to implement your idea. You will also be eligible later in the year to win project grants that will help put your ideas into action.
To be considered, you must demonstrate a strong commitment to leadership and potential for creating innovative solutions to problems in your community. You should also have a proven track record in your academic work and interest in extracurricular activities.
