The Trainer position is responsible for providing training to professionals charged with interviewing children who may be victims or witnesses of abuse or other criminal acts. The trainer is also responsible for participating in the development and constant improvement of trainings which reflect excellence in interviewing, as derived from research and currently recognized best practice. Trainer must be able and willing to travel frequently and to work with a varied multidisciplinary audience.
Participate in supervision, professional development and on-going training activities.
Participate in the development of initiatives for training and mentoring child forensic interviewers.
Maintain on-going knowledge of literature about best practice in child forensic interviewing.
Serve as a back-up forensic interviewer and consultant for NCAC Forensic Interviewing Services.
