RCCCNM will be seeking a dynamic individual with strong expertise in both sexual violence and the connection to other forms of oppression and non-profit leadership to serve as Executive Director. The Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico is a non-profit agency that has been serving the community since 1973. Services are confidential and include: a 24-hour crisis intervention service that provides support and assistance to sexual assault survivors, their families and friends; information and referrals concerning the law enforcement, medical and legal processes, support groups and individual counseling for sexual assault and child sexual abuse survivors; age appropriate curriculums to educational institutions and professionals; outreach and awareness programs for local agencies and groups; and efforts to change practices and culture to prevent sexual violence.
• Minimum 5 years non-profit experience, prefer Executive Director level
• Experience with direct service victims of violence, especially sexual assault
• Grant-writing experience; working with federal, state, and local funders
• Program development
• Budget management
• Community outreach
• Supervision of personnel
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
