EQMI educates and advocates to change Michigan laws and address issues that disproportionately impact LGBTQ+ lives throughout the state. 

We Believe that every LGBTQ New Mexican is a vital community member in our Land of Enchantment, that we are more than just our LGBTQ identities, and that the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ New Mexicans is crucial to creating a stronger, more balanced world. This belief compels us to challenge structural and individual barriers that limit our self-determination and ability to thrive.

Equality North Carolina builds LGBTQ+ power through advocacy, education, and uplifting the stories of queer and trans North Carolinians in pursuit of racial and social justice.

Our Vision: An Ohio where people are welcome, affirmed and flourishing.

Our Mission: Equality Ohio identifies and transforms systems and institutions so LGBTQ+ Ohioans can fully access legal and lived equality.

Equality South Dakota consists of three separate arms that work in concert to meet a shared mission.

Equality South Dakota Institute is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that works statewide to win equality in the communities we call home. We meet our mission through education and community partnerships at the local level. From Sioux Falls to Rapid City, Equality South Dakota members and supporters are on the frontlines of pushing equality forward in the state.

Equality Texas works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through political action, education, community organizing, and collaboration.

The Equality Texas Foundation works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through education, community organizing, and collaboration.

Equality Utah, an IRS 501(c)(4) organization, is the state's largest LGBTQ civil rights organization. Equality Utah leads efforts for LGBTQ civil rights at the state and local levels by: sponsoring LGBTQ legislation and opposing negative bills; lobbying elected officials; building coalitions; and empowering individuals and organizations alike to engage in the legislative process.

Yearly during the election cycle, Equality Utah publishes a voter guide full of candidates who elect to take our survey on LGBTQ issues, and assigns them a score based on their responses. From that guide, the Equality Utah PAC endorses specific candidates who are champions for equality.

Founded in 1989 as Virginians for Justice, Equality Virginia (EV) is the leading advocacy organization in Virginia seeking equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people.

EV is building a fully inclusive Commonwealth by educating, empowering, and mobilizing Virginians to ensure all LGBTQ people are free to live, love, learn, and work.

EqualityMaine is the oldest and largest statewide organization dedicated to creating a fair and just society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Mainers. 

EqualityMaine's mission is to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in Maine through political action, community organizing, education, and collaboration. We envision the day when lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons and their families have full equality in the hearts and minds of Maine people and in all areas of the law.

Fair Wisconsin envisions a fair, safe, and inclusive society in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people are treated with dignity and respect.

Fair Wisconsin Inc. works to build a fair, safe, and inclusive Wisconsin for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people by advancing, achieving, and protecting LGBTQ civil rights through lobbying, legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, coalition building and electoral involvement.

These efforts are designed to educate the general voting public, sensitize the media, promote a politically active and effective organizational membership, and better inform policy makers on issues of concern to the organization’s members.
