The Grassroots Organizing for Social Change Program supports non-profit grassroots, constituent-led organizations across the country that are using direct action, grassroots community-organizing strategies to accomplish their goals. We consider proposals that are aligned with the Foundation’s broad interests in social justice, environmental justice and sustainable food systems. The GOSC Grant Program has three grant cycles per year: Two for new applicants and one for renewal applicants that have been funded in within the past two years. If an application is selected for further consideration, the organization will be approved to submit a full proposal online. New proposals are reviewed in the 1st and 3rd Quarters. Renewal proposals are reviewed in the 2nd Quarter.
