The Jeannette Rankin Foundation continues the legacy of Jeanette Rankin, the first woman elected to Congress, by awarding scholarships to adult women who are facing challenges such as divorce, death of a spouse, disabilities, domestic violence, and/or job loss and want to continue their education.
