All forensic nurses are welcome to apply. Applicants who are IAFN members and who have been for a minimum of twelve (12) months immediately prior to application may apply directly.
Applicants who are not IAFN members must be sponsored by a current IAFN member. As a member if you know of someone who should be sponsored, you can submit an application on their behalf. Please forward this email to other forensic nursing colleagues!
The Scientific Assembly Grant (SAG) Program was established by IAFN and now continues under the direction of the IAFN Foundation, in recognition of the need to promote excellence in Forensic Nursing through the support of global information sharing and networking. The SAG Program is designed to provide financial assistance for members from around the world who might otherwise be unable to attend the organization’s Annual Scientific Assembly. This year's Assembly will be in Pittsburgh, PA, USA from October 27-30, 2010.
IAFN Foundation has designated funds to be awarded in the form of three (3) grants to those who apply for financial assistance to attend the annual Scientific Assembly. A grant award will consist of registration to the Scientific Assembly and a $1,100 stipend to be used for either airfare, lodging, ground transportation or meals.
