Become a New York State Department of Health certified rape/sexual assault & domestic violence volunteer advocate, working with victims in Nassau County hospital emergency rooms.

Advocates must have driver's license, cell phone, email address, be 18 years or older, and reside in Nassau County.

Training is:

September 24th, 25th, October 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd.

All training begins 6:30pm and ends 9:30pm.

All training located in our Bethpage Office.

Must attend 2-hour Orientation first (call for next date of Orientation)

Reference check necessary, screening and back ground check (which we will pay for) is required.


Must be willing to attend all training sessions;  be scheduled on monthly calendar (12 hour shifts 8am-8pm; 8pm-8am);  and attend on-going bi-monthly meetings.
