The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center is looking for a new full-time team member. The Manager of Community Engagement will lead BARCC’s efforts to engage more people with BARCC, and will maintain and further develop existing relationships. This position will work with 3 full time Community Engagement staff members to develop innovative strategies and oversee their successful implementation. They will develop and maintain key relationships throughout the community, and with BARCC staff and volunteers, in alignment with BARCC’s mission and philosophy. The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge and experience in marketing, communications, media relations, program development, facilitating presentations, leading social media and traditional outreach campaigns as well as, a minimum of five years experience supervising staff. Experience managing multiple priorities, including staff supervision, program development, grant reporting, and external relationships, and experience in the sexual violence field and primary prevention are preferred.
