The Oregon Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Task Force (SATF), a non-profit (501 (c) (3) based in Salem, OR, is seeking candidates to fill the full-time position of Executive Director.  Our successful candidate will lead a strong team of dedicated staff in developing and providing sexual assault training and advocacy to first responders including medical and law enforcement professionals, prosecutors, campus personnel, and victim service organizations.  Our Executive Director will also coordinate a statewide task force comprised of stakeholders who work in partnership with the SATF, and work closely with the SATF Board of Directors to advance the Task Force mission . The SATF is supported through a mix of state and federal funding programs and contracts, with an annual budget of approximately $1 million.  The SATF is recognized in Oregon, and nationally, as a leader in developing and providing training and promising practices for those supporting victims of sexual violence.

The position carries a competitive salary and benefits, depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.

Our successful candidate will have sufficient and documented knowledge and experience in efforts around prevention of and response to sexual assault, as well as demonstrated abilities in the following areas: •Strong communications skills – both verbal and written; •Collaboration and leadership skills – working with teams and directing staff to accomplish established goals; and •Strong financial knowledge and experience in working with grants and budgets.
