General Summary of Duties:

To oversee and manage the Abuse in Later Life (ALL) Program and coordinate the Collaborative Community Response Team (CCRT). The mission of the ALL Program is to train professionals across disciplines throughout Lexington County on recognizing and responding to elder abuse and engage in a review of systems’ responses to incidents of elder abuse.

Job Expectations:

*Organize and facilitate CCRT meetings;

*Organize and facilitate ALL Program trainings for law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and direct service providers, including travel, hotel, and compensation for national experts to conduct local trainings;

*Attend national trainings on elder abuse, neglect;

*Assist the CCRT in creation and implementation of a strategic plan to enhance community response to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation and services to older victims;

*Promote the agency’s services within the community;

*Educate professionals and older adults on mandated reporting, elder abuse, and sexual violence;

*Assist crisis staff in hospital accompaniment and crisis calls as needed in the office and in the after hour on-call rotation; and

*Other duties and reporting requirements as assigned or required by grantors.

Salary Level: 
$34,800 (generous benefit package including 100% employer paid health insurance, 401(k) with 3% match after one year employment, life insurance, vision, and paid leave)
* A Bachelor’s Degree in public health, education, criminology, sociology, social work, or related field; * Experience in public speaking and/or presenting workshops in diverse communities; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a team; and * Strong organizational skills, punctuality, cultural competency, professionalism, and written and oral communication skills.
