The theme for the 2014 conference is “Translating Research into Practice.” All submissions related to assessment, treatment and management of individuals who sexually abuse and the prevention of sexual abuse are welcome.

The conference committee especially invites presentations that focus on:

    The application of research to practice
    Professional development and wellness
    Effective strategies for framing communication for the media, policy makers and the community
    Restorative justice and cross-cultural healing initiatives
    Innovative approaches and roles in prevention efforts
    Models providing frameworks for promoting change
    Etiology of sexual abuse and implications for treatment and prevention
    Ethical issues in research, treatment and risk management protocols
    Best practices and innovations to assessment, treatment and risk management

We encourage submissions from students, newly established investigators and practitioners.
