Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree in education, social service field or equivalent experience; In-depth knowledge and understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault and primary prevention principles; Skilled at public speaking and engaging young adult audiences; Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; Experience coaching high school athletic teams preferred; Bi-lingual language skills a plus; Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings; Travel throughout Oakland County and surrounding communities required.

This position is funded by a Sexual Violence Prevention Programs Grant through the Michigan Department of Community Health and runs 11/1/2010 – 8/31/2011. Position may be extended based on outcomes and available funding.
 

Salary Level:

Description: 

We are looking for a high-energy individual that is passionate about educating and positively influencing teen and young adult males utilizing primary prevention principles. This position will schedule, prepare and deliver presentations on child abuse, child sexual assault, date rape, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and HAVEN services to male adolescent athletic teams and male students at alternative high schools throughout Oakland County.
