A bachelors degree is required; masters degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fields of domestic violence or sexual assault; a minimum of five years experience in human services; and five years experience in supervision and management. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
YWCA York invites applicants for Managing Director. YWCA York is a nonprofit agency serving the community of York, PA. Located in the heart of Central Pennsylvania, YWCA York is within driving distance to many major cities, including Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
As a member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the financial welfare and quality of the victim service programs (ACCESS-York and Victim Assistance Center). The Managing Director will advance victim service programs by providing strategic leadership to staff, securing funding, and developing new services and partnerships. Additional functions will include serving as the spokesperson for ACCESS-York and Victim Assistance Center within the community and serving as an advocate for the victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of violent crimes.
