HARRISBURG (AP) - The state Liquor Control Board says it's pulled an ad meant to warn people about the links between heavy drinking and rape. The ad featured an image of a woman's legs on a bathroom floor with her underwear pulled down to her ankles, and the words "she couldn't say no."
A spokeswoman for the Liquor Control Board says the ad was pulled Wednesday evening after complaints. Some critics say the ad blamed women for being victims, but other experts on rape say it was a frank but necessary discussion of a huge problem. Several other ads in the campaign warning about the dangers of heavy drinking are still being used.
