Description: 

The Training Specialist is responsible for providing high quality training and technical assistance on sexual violence response across the lifespan (children, teens, adult victims, adult survivors of child sexual abuse, and older adults). Training is provided in a variety of formats including in-person and online. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:  

Develop technical assistance resources and training curricula on sexual violence throughout the lifespan (children, teens, adult victims, adult survivors of child sexual assault, and sexual violence in later life).

Provide ongoing technical assistance to sexual violence programs, grantees, state coalitions, and other agencies and individuals on the full range of sexual violence intervention and prevention issues throughout the lifespan.

Provide and evaluate web-based and other trainings to anti-sexual violence advocates and allies on intervention, legal, medical, advocacy, criminal justice, and other topics related to sexual violence.

Assist in the development of technical assistance materials and web-based curricula by identifying priority topics, recommending and reviewing resource materials, and participating in planning.

Research topics and identify materials to aid in responding to information requests; work with the NSVRC Librarian to identify resources and catalogue them for easy retrieval.

Assist with research, researching topics and identifying materials to aid in responding to information requests, including resources on trauma-informed services.

Description: 

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall functions and staffing of the comprehensive technical assistance project and will ensure that all deliverables are completed as described according to approved timeline. The Project Manager is the primary liaison between the project staff and the funder, partners, and consultants. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
   
Provide leadership and coordination for the comprehensive technical assistance project. 
   
Supervise project-related staff and coordinate activities with other related NSVRC and PCAR technical assistance-related activities.

Provide training and consultation to staff and to the field.

Initiate monthly conference calls with OVW program manager.  Obtain approvals as needed.                                                        
Maintain regular communication with project partners and consultants, including planning periodic in-person meetings.

Coordinate an annual round table discussion on emerging issues in Washington DC.
Conduct planning meetings and trainings with TA providers.

Establish and monitor project priorities, deliverables, and timelines.

Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of resources and trainings.

Monitor program expenditures within approved budget.

Prepare progress reports and submit timely and according to funding requirements.

Description: 

This position will coordinate and provide technical assistance and training regarding sexual assault to rural communities, especially OVW Rural Grantees, in cooperation with other project staff and partners. Candidate will be responsible for curriculum and resource development, report writing, training facilitation and providing technical assistance. This position requires nationwide travel.

General:
