Walk a Mile in Her Shoes asks men to literally walk one mile in a pair of women’s shoes to raise awareness and funds to support the Women’s Center’s services for sexual assault victims.

Every 90 Seconds a Woman is Raped in America. Participating in this walk is courageous. Educating our community about sexual violence is vital. Supporting and empowering victims is HEROIC. National speakers, including Jean Kilbourne, Ed.D., Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, Ph.D, and Nan Stein, Ed.D will examine the prevalence of sexual harassment and gender-based violence that teens face, its effects on teens in school, relationships, mental and physical health, future victimization or perpetration, and academic success.
