So, now that you’ve been introduced and hopefully become inspired by the last post introducing the NSVRC library, I was hoping to take you on a tour of what you might find within the library website. I won’t bore you with some lengthy drawn out step by step process that will leave you more confused than anything else. Instead, I simply wanted to highlight a couple of things that may prove useful.
Have you ever checked out your local library's catalog on their website? You will notice that the NSVRC library catalog has many of those very same search options. However, if you check out the top of the page, you will find a section called, ‘lists.’ If you hover over it, a drop down menu will appear listing out a couple of options. Of these options, I want to emphasize one called, ‘New Titles.’ If you dare to click on this option, it will bring you to a listing of the newest cataloged materials categorized by month and year. Everything that has been currently added to the library will appear before your eyes.
What is also highly useful, is that many of the lists have direct links to FREE information online. Regardless of if you choose to explore the catalog or not, I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of the fabulous lists you have access to and the many options you may have to access our fabulous resources. Explore to your heart's content!
