SAFEta Regional Training: Creating a Community Protocol for Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations
Join us for the 1st SAFEta Regional Training: Creating a Community Protocol for Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations, May 8th and 9th in beautiful Tallahassee Florida! This is a FREE two day training opportunity based on the National Protocol for Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examinations. The training will benefit medical, legal, law enforcement and advocacy professionals. Community team members who are working to create or enhance existing community medical forensic examination protocols are encouraged to attend. The event will be enhanced by working together with fellow team members. 13.25 Nursing CEUs will be provided for attending the two day event. The faculty for this training opportunity will be experts from multidisciplinary teams around the United States. The Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee North will be the site of the training, which is a brand new facility in Tallahassee. A block of rooms has been reserved for this function for the special price of $95.00 per night! OVW grantees may be able to use their funds for attendance at this training event.
