A training on designing and implementing a multi-agency, multidisciplinary response to to sexual violence. Participants will learn tools and strategies for teams to influence improvements in their response systems. Registration is open to select OVW grantees (see below) until April 15th. After April 15th space will available on a first come, first served basis. Particpants should be members of multidisciplinary teams designing responses to sexual violence; members are strongly encouraged to attend with other team members, but team attendance is not required. The Sexual Violence Justice Institute trains and coaches coordinated response teams in designing and implementing their customized response to sexual violence. Through the use of the Protocol Development Cycle and other tools, teams develop and follow a plan for improving their systems. Join us for this chance to learn directly from experienced team members from law enforcement, prosecution, advocacy, nursing, and other disciplines who have been using this process for up to ten years. Additional workshops on emerging issues will also be offered.
