Take Back the Day

The Walk to Prevent Sexual Violence is scheduled for Saturday to increase awareness about sexual assault. Augusta State University, Paine College, University Hospital's Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services and WRDW-TV (Channel 12) are working together to host the walk as part of the partnership's second annual Take Back the Day observance.

The event begins at 9 a.m. after a brief ceremony at ASU's D. Douglas Barnard Jr. Amphitheatre . Registration , which begins at 8 a.m., is $10 for individuals, $15 for families and $5 for students.
