  • Justice Anne Burke, a current Illinois Supreme Court Justice and a former head of the Bishops Lay Review Board.
  • Tom Doyle, long time outspoken critic of the church's handling of the abuse crisis, canon lawyer and expert witness in many clergy sex abuse cases.
  • Christine Courtois, author of Healing the Incest Wound, with a chapter devoted to clergy abuse as a form of incest.
