False Allegations and Sexual Assault Dynamics; Interviewing, Investigating and Responding to Difficult Cases of Sexual Assault
Sgt. Archambault will present two sessions. The morning session is open to advocates, students and the general public. Topics covered will be Sexual Assault Dynamics: Effectively Recognizing and Responding to Sexual Assault and False Allegations. The afternoon session, for a select audience of law enforcement,SANE/SART Coordinators, prosecutorial, probation and court officials will cover Developing Skills to Interview Sexual Assault Survivors as well as Investigating and Responding to Difficult Cases of Sexual Assault.
Schedule:
9:00am – 12:30pm for Advocates, Students and General Public
1:00pm – 4:30pm for Law Enforcement, SANE/SART, Prosecutorial, Probation and Court Officials.
Only Law Enforcement, SANE/SART, Prosecutorial, Probation and Court Officials may attend both sessions.
$50 for up to three persons per NJCASA Sexual Violence Program Member organization
$50 for up to three persons per police station, prosecutor’s office or court department
$50 for Students
$65 for the General Public
