The Resource Sharing Project and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center are providing a unique training to enhance sexual assault services exclusively for OVW Rural Grantees. This national meeting will discuss all aspects of providing innovative services to rural sexual assault survivors.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the continuum of sexual violence and the ways different types of sexual violence affect survivors
- Identify and discuss the policies and procedures an agency needs to serve sexual assault survivors
- Assess individual readiness to serve sexual assault survivors and identify strengths
- Write an individual or organizational action plan to improve the agency's response to sexual violence
- Bring an action plan back to their home communities to share
