Trauma Informed Care Training

The Coalition will host a training on Trauma Informed Care for domestic and sexual violence programs on Thursday, December 13 from 10:00-4:00 EST. This training will examine the effects of trauma on survivors and advocates, introduce Tennessee's new comprehensive statewide policy for trauma-informed care, and give advocates the tools they need to effectively work with survivors in crisis. The trainers are Elizabeth Edmondson, Coalition Program Manager at the Tennessee Coalition and Sheri Eastridge, Women and Children’s Investment Program Manager at Child & Family Tennessee. This training itself is provided at no cost to participants, however, lunch will be on your own.
