The goal of this workshop is to provide victim service agencies with the information, skills, and tools needed to adequately assess within their agency and community the current needs of advocates and professionals working with victims of crime and the needs of victims themselves and to plan and implement ongoing evaluation of the programs and services designed to meet these needs.
- Plan a needs assessment within their community that involves key stakeholders and utilizes, to the extent possible, existing data
- Use needs assessment results to inform the planning and design of program evaluations.
- Plan or participate in the planning of an evaluation of a single program/service or multiple, comprehensive programs/services to meet their documentation and reporting needs
- Develop program logic models and identify program outcomes and impacts, measures, and data sources.
