Join us in the jazz-infused city of New Orleans as SOPHE convenes it 2009 Midyear
Scientific Conference to share scientific discovery, encourage dialogue, stimulate
exploration, and promote new skills among health education researchers, practitioners, and students. All that Jazz: Harmonizing Health Education Practice and Research to Advance Health Equity will feature attention to the core elements of the field by focusing on innovative approaches in health policy and advocacy; best practices and opportunities in partnerships and collaboration; physical and social determinants of health within the concept of healthy neighborhoods; exploration of mental health promotion and psychology of place; and improvements in best practices by incorporating translational science and systems approaches.
