The Use of Technology to Perpetrate Sexual and Domestic Violence

Perpetrators of sexual and domestic violence are often on the cutting edge in their use of technology. This session will review how offenders are misusing technology to stalk their victims, and how survivors can harness the power of technology to document this abuse. The session will include concrete strategies for basic safety planning and “do’s” and “don’ts” around a variety of technologies, including phone, GPS, camera, Internet, and social networking sites.
